Herding.

June 19th, 2010 - creator Alan Aston and three herders were out on Lake George, intoducing Stopper, Reviver, Survivor and Dasher to their permanent home.

Let's go...

Are we there yet?
Hey look - grass!
Boo!

The indignity of it all!
My best angle :)

Time for a glass of red I think.

Setting the herd free.

June 20th 2010 saw the four zebras released by Alan Aston and 150 friends, to roam on Lake George and hopefully attract a few drivers to stop, revive and survive.

Zebras at Lake George.

'Jambo' - Swahili for G'day.
Our names are Stopper, Reviver and Survivor.
We are African plains zebras or equus quagga.
We were created in fibreglass by Canberra sculptor Alan Aston and painted from actual photographs of our brothers and sisters by artist Julie Aston.
The zebra on the right looking out for us is named Dasher in honour of WO (Dasher) Wheatley VC.
Question: Are we white with black stripes or black with white stripes?  Hint: Our skin is black.
Thank you for stopping and please ENJOY.
